No Tengo Internet

I swear I have not been slacking.  It's just the campgrounds we've been staying in have not been delivering on their promises of wi-fi.  A lot of campgrounds seem to have TengoInternet, which bills itself as "Leading Provider of Outdoor Internet."  I say they should rename it NoTengoInternet (bam! bilingual jokes!)  But I digress...

So we picked up the RV on July 3 and drove across Nevada.  Our destination was Lake Tahoe.  We decided to stop for the night at either Reno or Carson City.  Since we were heading to South Lake Tahoe, Carson City was more on the way. I found a casino/RV park that looked nice, so we called and made a res.  Got there around 11:30pm.  Chuck went into the hotel to check in and got the site # and all the other stuff.  They were pull-through sites, but it was literally the tightest campground I've ever seen. Barely made the turn onto our row, and then we tried getting into the site. Not only were there cars sticking out on the row behind us, there were big rocks on either side just waiting to rip a hole in something. I told Chuck I thought it'd be best if he just backed out and went and told them we would just stay in the parking lot. Apparently that is illegal in Carson City.  Yes, the town where every other business we saw had the words "bunny ranch" in them thinks it would be horrible if campers parked in lots overnight!

The hotel night desk guy then gave Chuck a back-in spot right on the end that we would have eventually made it into, but he came out and kept saying, "that's too hard, isn't it?" It was too dark and I was too tired to disagree, so then he agreed to let us stay in their lower lot and said he would let security know.

Of course everyone fell right to sleep except me, because I was waiting for someone to come beat on our door to say we couldn't stay there.

FYI - stopped working on this post to eat dinner, and of course when I came back to it, the wi-fi doesn't work!
